Data Deletion Instructions

If you want the data Yaziio processes about you to be deleted, follow the steps below.

1. Send a deletion request

Email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request" and include:

• Your Instagram username,
• What you want deleted (all conversations and comments, or a specific conversation),
• Information that helps us verify your identity (for example, information showing your connection to the Instagram account).

2. What happens next

• We process the request and tell you the result within 30 days,
• Your data in Yaziio's records is deleted (today, the raw event records received from Meta; once the service is live, also your contact record, conversations, comment copies and tags),
• Records we are legally required to keep are retained only for that period with restricted access,
• Once Yaziio starts sending messages, messages it sent may remain in your Instagram inbox; you can delete them in the Instagram app.

3. If you are an account owner (you use Yaziio)

Once account connection goes live, you will be able to remove Yaziio in Instagram under Settings > Apps and websites. Once access is removed no new data is received; send the request above to have existing data deleted as well.

4. Automatic deletion (planned)

The default target is 180 days; when the application goes live, automatic deletion or anonymization of conversation and comment content after 180 days, even without a request, will be added. Today there is no automatic deletion; deletion is done on an email request.
